Defence two-way radios: secure, rugged communication
Defence bases, primes, contractors and aerospace maintenance teams need communication that is secure, rugged and protects hearing in extreme noise. Radio Industries supplies encrypted P25 radios, tactical communication headsets, satellite push-to-talk and aviation ground support equipment, with local programming and support. Our defence two-way radios cover secure voice, extreme noise and remote sites.

Compliance and procurement
Encryption-capable radios and some accessories can carry export, licensing and contract conditions. Tell us your requirements and we will confirm what applies before you order, and quote against your purchase order. For government agencies, see government and councils.
Choosing defence two-way radios
Start with how the radios will be used. Base security and logistics teams usually need DMR radios with encryption, tactical and range teams need P25 handsets and hearing protection, and remote or overseas teams may need satellite push-to-talk. Tell us your sites, security requirements and existing radios, and we will recommend radios, accessories and programming that work with what you already run.
Supply and support
We program radios before dispatch, supply PELTOR parts and hygiene kits, and service and repair radios and headsets. Private business channels are licensed through an ACMA land mobile licence, and we can arrange this for you. Contact us for availability, lead times or a suitable alternative.
