A repeater receives a radio signal and re-transmits it at higher power from a better location, turning a few hundred metres of handheld range into kilometres. We supply repeaters including the Motorola SLR 1000, SLR 5500 and SLR 8000, Hytera HR652 and HR1062, Kenwood NXR-710/810 and NXR-1700, and the Delta SFR6000 single-frequency DMR repeater.
Choosing a repeater means matching your radio fleet (analogue, DMR or NXDN), frequency band and licence, duty cycle and where the antenna can be mounted. Most repeater systems need a licensed private frequency.
