Are CEL-FI boosters legal in Australia?
CEL-FI boosters are designed for approved use on Australian mobile networks. Only use boosters approved for your carrier, as unapproved repeaters can interfere with the network. See the ACMA for more on mobile repeaters.
Will a booster work with no signal at all?
No. A booster needs some usable outside signal to amplify. Where there is no mobile coverage, satellite internet such as Starlink is usually the better option.
Can I use a booster in a vehicle or caravan?
Yes. The CEL-FI ROAM R41 bundles are designed for trucks, 4WDs and caravans.
Will a booster improve my push-to-talk radios?
