How far can a 4G walkie talkie reach?

Range is not limited by distance. A 4G or 5G walkie talkie can talk to any other device on the same platform anywhere there is mobile or WiFi coverage, including across states.

Do 4G walkie talkies need a licence?

No radio frequency licence is needed because they use the mobile network. You will usually need a SIM and a push-to-talk service plan for each device.

What happens in areas with poor mobile coverage?

Devices need mobile or WiFi signal to work. For weak coverage, a Cel-Fi booster can help, or a dual-mode radio can fall back to DMR radio channels.

Can 4G walkie talkies talk to our UHF radios?
