Whether you need a single Motorola radio for a small team or a complete fleet of Motorola two-way radios, these systems keep your people connected in the most demanding environments.

In construction, Motorola radios keep site teams coordinated across noisy, sprawling job sites. In mining, rugged intrinsically safe models are built for harsh, remote conditions. TETRA supports high-capacity networks where large teams need to stay connected at once. Analogue and DMR digital radios provide reliable, cost-effective communication for everyday commercial and industrial use. Motorola WAVE PTX extends push-to-talk over cellular and Wi-Fi networks, connecting teams beyond the range of traditional radio.

Motorola Two-Way Radios FAQs

Are your Motorola radios genuine?

Yes. Radio Industries is a Motorola Solutions Gold Channel Partner, so the Motorola radios, body-worn cameras and accessories we supply are genuine Motorola Solutions products, backed by our setup, programming and support.

Do I need a licence to use a Motorola two-way radio?

It depends on the radio. UHF CB radios use the 80 public channels under the ACMA class licence, so no individual licence is needed. Commercial radios on a private channel need an apparatus licence from the ACMA. We can arrange private frequency licences and program your radios to suit.

Can you program the radios before they arrive?

Yes. Tell us your channels, or what your team needs, and we can program your Motorola radios before dispatch so they are ready to use.

What is the difference between MOTOTRBO and WAVE PTX?

MOTOTRBO radios are DMR two-way radios that talk directly to each other or through a repeater on your own channels. WAVE PTX devices use the 4G and Wi-Fi networks for push-to-talk across cities and states without repeaters, and usually need a monthly service plan. See push-to-talk radios.

Will Motorola accessories fit my radio?

Motorola accessories are model-specific. Check the radio models listed on each product, or use our connector chart. IMPRES batteries and IMPRES chargers work best together.

Do you service and repair Motorola radios?

Yes. Our technicians service, repair and reprogram two-way radios. Visit service and repairs or call 1300 266 682.
